Frequently Asked Questions
How much time does it take?
I’ve created a lot of content for you… approximately 11 hours of video content. Depending on your experience and comfort with Apps Script concepts, I’d estimate that it will take you 20+ hours total time to get comfortable with the material.
HOWEVER… I know you’re busy so each topic is divided into a series of 5-15 minute videos so you don’t have to plan days and days around studying this topic. I’d advocate doing the lessons in batches spread across a few weeks or months, to give yourself time to absorb the knowledge.
When does the course start and finish?
The course starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish.
Will I get copies of the datasets and solutions?
Yes! All the templates and script files are provided, so you can download your own copies. The template and script file links are available under each lesson. Clicking on the template links will make a copy on your Drive account.
What if I can’t figure out something on my own?
There’s a private Facebook group for students! As a member of this group, you can ask questions, share your ideas and knowledge, and connect with other students.
How do I get access to the private course Facebook group?

As long as you aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and put some effort in, then you’ll be able to grasp the content of this course. You’re free to watch the lessons in any order and as many times as you like, so you can watch and re-watch topics if you want!

This course is Google Apps Script-focused and entirely practical. There is just enough theory to allow you to build useful applications, but not too much that it becomes overwhelming. You start working with Google Apps Script immediately and concepts are taught through practical examples.
